Think Employment! Summit
Important Update: Memphis Summit Cancelled
Working with our colleagues at the University of Tennessee Center for Developmental Disabilities, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the March 30 Think Employment! Summit in Memphis. We continue to hold the safety, health, and well-being of our attendees, speakers, and staff (and their families) as our top priority. This decision is in alignment with the new University of Tennessee policy which effectively suspends all sponsored events until further notice.
We are so thrilled with how many of you signed up to attend this summit, and deeply regret we won’t be able to gather in late March. We are currently exploring our best path forward. We have everyone’s contact information who registered for the event, and we will keep everyone updated as we make decisions!
Our annual regional summits bring together individuals with disabilities, family members, educators, providers, vocational rehabilitation professionals, and employers with the goal of sharing best practices and building community partnerships to improve employment outcomes for Tennesseans with disabilities. They are a partnership among UT CLEE, the Knoxville Area Employment Consortium, UTHSC Center for Developmental Disabilities, Vanderbilt University, and the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center.
